Tavola Calda/ Five Tables

Take five tables, five menus, four young designers fresh out of college.
Add 4 tablespoons of research, two of observation and 3 teaspoons of fantasy, mix everything and dress it with curiosity.
And thus the "Tavola Calda" project was born, it begins with the observation of the couple's gesture at lunch and includes the construction of five structures which stimulate the interaction between two people who do not know each other.
Take a look at the website here and find out their next event!

Beet Cake/ Tiger in a Jar

"There is something beautiful about the baking process.
The way flour feels in your hands or the sound of eggs cracking on the edge of a bowl.
Baking is a gathering of interesting materials, a mixed medium art piece of sorts, that ends in a cake instead of a canvas".  (Tiger in a Jar)

Amy Stevens/ Exuberantly Imperfect Cakes

"The Confections series began as a response to turning 30. It was a celebration of birthdays, color, pattern and obsessive absurdity.
My original idea was to bake 30 birthday cakes for myself and photograph them. I didn’t quite make it to 30 cakes in time for my first show, but I sure got a lot of ideas from those first cakes.
I ordered a kit from Martha Stewart.com and watched an instructional video on decorating cakes.
When I quickly discovered my cakes were never going to look like the ones in the video and the pamphlet, I decided they were better off in their exuberantly imperfect states".

California Bakery/ Feel at home

California Bakery opened in 1996 in Milan, in Corso Concordia.
It was a very small shop, but was able to give space to a great passion.
From this first address, the smell of freshly baked good things has managed to win many customers and friends who live in Milan.
